Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale is Aug 4th
It is that time of year again and our annual neighborhood yard sale is almost here. Don't miss out on your chance to make some cash by selling your goods at a yard sale at your own home. As always, we'll do the advertising and you do the selling. It's that simple.
Oh, and an example of one of the new ways we're getting the word out is right here: Find garage sales in tacoma on Yard Sale Search

February 15th, 2011 Meeting Announcement
Dear Friends & Neighbors-
Our next monthly meeting is fast approaching. It will be this Tuesday, February 15th, from 6:30-8:00pm at our usual place, Bethany United Methodist Church, 5634 S Park Avenue.
This month we will be joined by a City of Tacoma traffic engineer to discuss one of our neighborhood's biggest complaints: speeding on S Park Avenue. Join us to learn of the changes coming to S Park Avenue in our neighborhood and get a preview of the City's master plan for all of S Park Avenue.
Don't forget to bring donations of canned food, toiletries cleaning supplies and/or paper goods for Bounty Food Bank. Leftover and partially-used bottles of cleaning supplies or shampoo, soap, etc. are also VERY much appreciated. And, cash donations for Bethany U.M.C.'s heating fund.
We look forward to seeing you there.

2010 Accomplishments - Our Third Year
2010 was a relatively quiet year in our neighborhood. We had very little graffiti, no home evictions and garbage from neighborhood clean ups was the lightest ever.
We held our 3rd annual walkabout in June.
We participated in our 2nd annual CBS clean up in June.
We participated in another annual March Against Crime in June.
We held another annual National Night Out party in August.
We held our 1st Annual 35-block, neighborhood-wide yard sale in August.
And, we reclaimed and cleaned up one of our main Traffic circles.

3rd Anniversary Party Announcement - Tuesday, January 18th
We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary as a neighborhood watch group on Tuesday, January 18th, at 6:30pm. Our party will be held at our usual meeting place, Bethany United Methodist Church, 5634 S Park Avenue.
This year's party is a potluck but you won't have to worry about bringing a main dish because it is also a chili cook-off (the two competitors have already been chosen). Just bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
We look forward to seeing you there.
